Dixie Dancers offer tap lessons, performances
Those who have Friday mornings free and want to try something new might try tap dancing lessons offered by the Dixie Dancers. Just tap those toes and the Dixie Dancers at the Ruston Parks and Recreation Department will help get started.
Lessons are taught at 10 a.m. every Friday in the Multipurpose Center on James Street.
The Dixie Dancers is a group of Ruston ladies who perform their tap dance routines, for free, at various venues in and around Ruston. They have completed more than 250 performances, mainly for senior centers, and have more than 56 dances in their repertoire.
