GRAMBLING — For the second time already this season, Grambling State University has lost a Southwestern Athletic Conference game by single digits and in a heart-breaking manner.
In the season opener earlier this month, the Tigers (0-3, 0-2) were edged, 22-21, in the final seconds by Alcorn State University.

On Saturday night, in a home opener at Robinson Stadium, Alabama State University (2-1, 2-0) used a fake punt in the final quarter to stay alive and set up a game-winning touchdown in a 19-18 win.
