As Sept. 11 passes each year, residents take a moment of pause to remember those lost and to thank those who have served this country in the military. Last month, a group of National Guardsmen returned home to the area, including some who call Ruston home.

All of this, along with recent American deaths on foreign soil, place the focus on the military.
Next week, residents will have a chance to learn more about something that affects nearly 60 percent of soldiers who see combat.
