Ashley Nicole Lonidier and Brandon Todd Pyles Jr., both of Ruston, were united in matrimony in a 6 p.m. ceremony Sept. 29 at the Norton Building in Ruston. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Jerry Key.

The bride is the daughter of Danny and Carolyn Lonidier, of Ruston, and the granddaughter of Henry Paul Morris, of Philadelphia, Miss., Martha Mantooth, of Plaquemine, Woody and Jane “Cookie” Richards, of Arcadia, and Jimmy Wade Lonidier Sr., of Arcadia.

The groom is the son of Sheryl Deal Ireson, of Ruston, and Todd and Vicki Pyles, of Ruston. He is the grandson of Arnold and Lenora “Chinkie” Pyles, of Ruston, and Ron and Lois Deal, of Ruston.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a romantic couture gown by Casa Blanca. It featured a sweetheart-embellished bodice with pleated organza trim and ornate beading and embroidery. The delicate bodice is surrounded by a breathtaking skirt featuring a chapel-length train made of soft tulle with silver beadwork and embroidery and 3-D ribbon-like gathered tulle with beaded trim accents. Beadwork and lace adorned the tulle over silky satin. The bride chose a fingertip length veil which featured one layer of tulle with embellishments of silver beadwork encircling the edges. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of deep plum and white roses made by Vicki Pyles.

The bride’s cousin, Shannon Morris, of Ruston, served the bride as the maid of honor. Gracie Richardson, also of Ruston, served as the junior bridesmaid. Both wore sleek plum colored floor length gowns and carried a hand–tied bouquet of lush purple hydrangeas and white roses.

Serving the groom as best man was his brother, Taylor Pyles, of Ruston.
Brandon and Branson Morris, brothers of the bride, both of Ruston, served as ushers.
Vada Richardson, of Ruston, served as the flower girl, while Kurtis Richardson, of Ruston, served as ring bearer.

Josiah Kennedy served as the official photographer for the ceremony and reception.
Following the ceremony, a reception was also held at the Norton Building. Serving at the reception were the aunts and great aunts of the bride and groom.
Prior to the ceremony, a rehearsal dinner was given at the Norton Building by Arnold and Chinkie Pyles, and Tony and Mary Soto.

On Aug. 4, a sunflower shower was held at the home of Shirley and Butch Soto. It was hosted by Shirley Soto and Chinkie Pyles.

On Aug. 25, a couple’s shower was held at the home of Kimberly and Ben Breithaupt and hosted by Kimberly and Ben Breithaupt, Ashley and Wesley Price, Lois and Ron Deal, Sheryl Deal Ireson and Jamie and Jeremy Deal.

After a honeymoon to New Orleans, the couple will reside in Ruston.
