Exercise helps decrease the chance of breast cancer
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so this is a good time to highlight the benefits of exercise in reducing the risk of breast cancer. There has been extensive research done on the causes and prevention of this type of cancer. Some of this research suggests an increase in physical activity, even later in life, can reduce your risk of developing breast cancer by 20 percent. Experts recommend a mere 30 minutes of light to moderate activity five times a week.
