Tech, A&M: Shreveport thriller
SHREVEPORT — It started out as a one-sided Aggies’ dominated game.
It ended in a 100-plus points’ shootout that could have been more appropriate for a Wild West duel in Dodge City.
Texas A&M (5-1) managed to survive resilient and determined Louisiana Tech (5-1) in a marathon duel that didn’t conclude until 1 a.m., Sunday.
The nearly 41,000 fans — equal parts A&M and Tech — that watched n would have likely stayed another four hours had they been guaranteed as thrilling turn-of-the-events tussle as they were treated to at Independence Stadium.
