Woes of fire ants, wild boars

If ever I could help add one of God’s creatures to the Endangered Species List it would be the fire ant.

The only thing good that this insect brings to the table is very bad. Maybe my friend Larry Sellers at Louisiana Tech University can take me to school on any fine attribute this stinging machine might contribute to our everyday lives.

When it rains, they pour. Following the five-inch deluge we got a couple of weeks back, my lawn and my pasture turned to ant mounds. There is no doubt in my mind these little red varmints can kill small animals or ground nesting birds very easily.
