Three seek La. Tech president position
As of Friday, three individuals have thrown their names in the hat for the chance at being the next president of Louisiana Tech University.
Dan Reneau, who has served as Tech’s top leader for 26 years, announced in September that he will retire from the position effective June 30, 2013.
Les Guice, Tech’s current executive vice president and vice president for research and development at Tech, is one of those three candidates. During the first meeting of the presidential search committee in September, many members of the Tech community voiced support for Guice to fill Reneau’s spot.
