What is an educator's job?
I can’t remember ever having a bad teacher — at least not before college. Sure, there were ones that I did not particularly care for, such as my third-grade teacher, who yelled a lot and punished children by making them sit up on their knees on the hard floor. Then there was my fourth-grade teacher, who declared I could not leave the lunchroom until I had sampled everything on my plate. It’s possible that today she is subconsciously the reason I’m extremely reluctant to try many new foods.
