Top Summer Readers

I.A. Lewis students love to read for fun. Many students spent their summer reading. Students who read three or more assigned books on the summer reading list were rewarded. All students were rewarded with certificates of achievement. Michael Bishop was the top summer reader and was rewarded with a brand-new Kindle by principal Sonja Fuller. Michael read 29 books over the summer.

“I like reading a lot,” Michael said. “I thought it was fun, and it gave me something to look forward to. ‘The Last Battle: The Chronicles of Narnia’ was my favorite.”
