Dangerous times remain
Last week we mentioned one of the most frightening times in our nation’s history.
In the 1860s our nation was nearly destroyed. We still to this day are dealing with remnants of the Civil War. In the 1960s there was great tumult, and during that time our nation could have been destroyed. I do not reference the Vietnam War nor riots in the streets; the flashpoint in 1962 was the Cuban Missile Crisis. We still are dealing with the threat of danger from nuclear weaponry.
