I have made no secret that I am fairly biased toward Louisiana. With that, I try to support as many of our businesses and industries as possible — from food to authors. Although I feel I personally do not contribute that much, I was pleasantly surprised the other day to find others who are just as conscientious about their shopping habits as I am.
As Lynda Steed, director of development at Cedar Creek School, introduced famed Chef Cory Bahr, she remarked on his “passion about incorporating local products into his Southern cuisine.”
