Keeping things in ‘real’ time
Besides the beauty of the color on the trees right now, I like fall because we are able to put Daylight Savings Time into moth balls for a few months. I never have been a fan of the fake time that was bestowed upon us in the name of conserving energy.
As I have gotten older, I get hungrier for my evening meal earlier. By the time 5:30 p.m. rolls around, I begin scrounging around in the panty looking for nourishment. My wife will remark about the early time, but now I have darkness as an ally.
