During my earlier history classes, one of my history professors advised that “those who cannot remember the past are doomed to repeat it.” Given the issues we’re dealing with right now, we seem to remember lessons from the past. The first thing you might want to remember is the current fiscal cliff is similar to a financial meltdown, or a recession or a depression. Regardless of what we call them, we have had our share of economic problems.
