Many educators across the state celebrated a small win on Friday when a state judge in Baton Rouge ruled the Louisiana Student Scholarships for Education Excellence program as unconstitutional.

This program has allowed more than 100 students in Lincoln Parish to attend private schools, mostly the church-run New Living Word School, on the state’s dime.
