“Living in the Spirit” class is at 9:45 a.m. Sundays. Children’s church is at 10:45 a.m. Nursery up through age 3 is provided at 10:45 a.m. Sundays and by request on Sunday night and at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Bible study classes begin at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Worship is also held at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Choir rehearsal begins at 4 p.m. today.
Men’s Prayer Breakfast begins at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. Wednesday evening’s prayer service is at 6:30 p.m.
A tropical storm named Ericka hit and destroyed Dominica, a small Caribbean island with 72,000 people on Aug. 26. The severe storm left 20 people dead, about 50 missing and a land filled with destroyed homes and livelihoods.
According to The Weather Channel, more than 12.64 inches of rain fell on Dominica over a 12-hour period beginning on Aug. 26. A Red Cross report stated that 10,000 and 20,000 individuals were affected and living without basic needs such as electricity, food, water and a way to communicate with their families.
Meet Roscoe. He is a medium-sized guy that loves people, other dogs and is also leash trained.

Parallax can be defined as an apparent change in the position of an object, caused by a change in point of view. Photography is a powerful tool for individuals to express their perspectives on the issues affecting them. There is rarely one way to solve a problem or address a subject. The photography students here at Louisiana Tech University’s School of Art spend their final year producing a single body of personal work. It is exciting to see the various paths these artists take to express their points of view when given the freedom to choose their own projects.
