Tech, Grambling women lose; G-Men stopped

Leader photo by O.K. DAVIS First-guard Lulu Perry of Benton led Louisiana Tech University with 18 points on Sunday afternoon, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 77-55 loss against LSU in Baton Rouge. The Techsters closed out their non-conference schedule with the contest and will be idle until a Dec. 29 Western Athletic Conference opener at Denver.

It was a tough weekend for Lincoln Parish college basketball teams.

On Saturday, the Lady Tigers and Tigers of Grambling State University stumbled.
On Sunday, it was the Lady Techsters of Louisiana Tech University falling.

Both of the Grambling teams played on the road, with the Lady Tigers tumbling to Florida State University 96-60 and the men being a 93-45 victim of the University of Southern Mississippi at Hattiesburg.

The Lady Techsters were in Baton Rouge against LSU and lost 77-55.
