The Ruston Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau will have an extra $100,000 a year to spend following the recent refunding and extension of a bond.

Bank of Ruston President and CVB Board Chair Bill Hogan said, about five years ago, the CVB authorized Foley & Judell, LLP, a law firm in New Orleans, to put together a bond issue and send a request for proposals to banks that might want to purchase the bonds. The monies would be used to construct the new CVB building on U.S. Highway 167.
