Parents cope with loss
When a gunman entered an elementary school in Connecticut last week and killed 20 children and six adults, it sent shock waves across our nation.
Sure, there have been other school shootings in recent years that produced mass casualties. In 1999, two teens enrolled at Columbine High School in Colorado killed 12 students and one teacher. More recently, 32 lives were lost in a 2007 shooting at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
