Ruth Frances Stone Workman was born January 9, 1920 in Harvard, Nebraska. She passed away in Ruston January 13, 2012. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Harvard, Nebraska.

Ruth spent her early years in Fairmont, Nebraska where she graduated from high school. Ruth and her husband, Norman Workman, had a photo studio in Littleton, Colorado for many years. after retiring, they spent summers at Grand Lake, Colorado and winters in Phoenix, Arizona. Ruth Also enjoyed traveling, playing bridge and entertaining her family and friends in Grand Lake. Ruth and her husband moved to Ruston in October of 1999. She will be missed.

Ruth is survived by her brother: Robert Stone of Sutton, Nebraska; her sister-in-law: Winona Stone of Fairmont, Nebraska; her sister: Helen Simmering of Ruston as well as her nieces and nephews who were all very special to her. She was preceded in death by her parents: Leroy L. Stone and Grace Farral Stone; her husband of 65 years: Norman Workman; her sister: Doris Morris and brothers-in-law: Ken Morris and Weston Workman.
