All students in the parish will have a day off school on Wednesday due to potential inclement weather.

Lincoln Parish Superintendent of Schools Danny Bell announced just before 2:30 p.m. today that all parish public schools will be closed on Wednesday due to the potential for bad weather.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to drop to a low of 28 degree Fahrenheit and there is a 50 percent chance of precipitation. Freezing rain is expected into Wednesday morning, easing up around 9 a.m.
