Tech to hold 11th annual ecumenical service Monday

‘Walk for Education’ to begin at 10 a.m.

The 11th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Noon Ecumenical Observance will be held Monday in the Ruston Civic Center.

Rasheed Ali Cromwell will be the keynote speaker. Cromwell will address this year’s theme, “Hope-Filled, Action-Driven.”  Cromwell is the director of the Harbor Institute in Washington, D.C. 

The event is sponsored by the office of multicultural affairs at Louisiana Tech University.
The event will be preceded by the service-learning project, “A Walk for Education,” led by The National Society of Black Engineers at Tech’s campus.
