Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued out of the Honorable Third Judicial District Court in the above entitled and numbered cause, and to me directed, I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale at public auction, at the principal front door of the Court House in Ruston, Lincoln Parish, LA, between the hours governing judicial sales on WEDNESDAY, 30 January, 2013 beginning at 10:00 A.M., the following described property situated in Lincoln Parish, LA, to wit:
Township 18 North, Range 4 West, Lincoln Parish, LA, Section 33: Commencing at an existing one inch iron pipe at the NW corner of said Section 33 as per survey by Oliver L. Buhls, Reg. C.E., dated October 12, 1961; and thence run South 00 degrees 23 minutes 19 seconds East along the West line of Section 33 for a distance of 2,639.13 feet to the SW corner of Tract No. 6 of the J.H. Raspberry Partition as per survey by Oliver L. Buhls, Reg. C.E., dated October 12, 1961, and of record in the Office of the Clerk of Court of Lincoln Parish, Louisiana; thence run North 89 degrees 39 minutes 00 seconds East along the South line of said Tract No. 6 for a distance of 54.80 feet to a 3/4 inch iron pipe on the apparent right-of-way line of Best Road and to the starting point. From said starting point, thence, leaving the South line of said Tract No. 6, run North 00 degrees 23 minutes 19 seconds East along said right-of-way line for a distance of 58.94 to a 3/4” rebar in an existing fence; run South 89 degrees 44 minutes 10 seconds East along said fence for a distance of 338.58 feet to an existing six inch fence post; thence run South 01 degrees 32 minutes 30 seconds East along said fence for a distance of 55.23 feet to a 3/4” rebar; thence, leaving said fence, run thence North 89 degrees 38 minutes 08 seconds East along the South line of Tract No. 6 of the J.H. Raspberry Partition for a distance of 841.94 feet to a 1/2” rebar; thence, leaving the South line of the J.H. Raspberry Partition, run South 01 degrees 24 minutes 35 seconds West for a distance of 137.53 feet to a 1/2” rebar; thence run 89 degrees 26 minutes 14 seconds West for a distance of 781.62 feet to an existing axle; thence run North 89 degrees 52 minutes 11 seconds West for a distance of 402.52 feet to an existing 5/8” rebar on the apparent right-of-way line of Best Road; thence run North 02 degrees 08 minutes 18 seconds East along said right-of-way for a distance of 136.82 feet back to the point of beginning, containing 4.212 acres more or less as per survey by Lowe & Associates, Inc. Dated January 18, 2007. Which has the address of 725 Best Road, Simsboro, LA 71275-3534.
Seized as the property of defendants Angelia Dawkins Rogers and Lawrence Rogers and will be sold to satisfy writ and all cost. Terms of sale cash with benefit of appraisement. This 19 day of December, 2012.
