LEGAL NOTICE
STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2013, upon the application of WILDHORSE RESOURCES, LLC. At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A and Gray Sand, Reservoir A, in the Terryville Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
1. To dissolve the two (2) drilling and production units established for the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, which were created by Office of Conservation Order No. 370-B-168, effective April 13, 2010, being LCV RA SUBB and LCV RA SUV, as shown on the plat submitted with the application and marked for identification as Exhibit No. 1.
2. To dissolve the three (3) drilling and production units established for the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, which were created by Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, being LCV RA SUU, LCV RA SUDD and LCV RA SUJJ, as shown on the plat submitted with the application and marked for identification as Exhibit No. 1.
3. To dissolve the two (2) drilling and production units established for the Gray Sand, Reservoir A, which were created by Order No. 370-E-13, effective April 13, 2010, being GRAY RA SUGG and GRAY RA SUN, as shown on the plat submitted with the application and marked for identification as Exhibit No. 2.
4. To create two (2) additional drilling and production units for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, to be designated LCV RA SUYY and LCV RA SUZZ as shown on the plat submitted with the application and marked for identification as Exhibit No. 3.
5. To redefine the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR AS LCV RA SUYY and LCV RA SUZZ are concerned, as being the stratigraphic equivalent of that gas and condensate bearing zone between the depths of 9,160' and 11,400' (electric log measurements) in the Wildhorse Resources, LLC-Davison No. 3 Well, located in Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 4 West.
6. To force pool and integrate all separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests located within the proposed unit in accordance with Section 10, Title 30 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, with each tract sharing in unit production on a surface acreage basis of participation.
7. To provide that with respect to horizontal wells drilled to the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in or to serve the proposed units, where the horizontal lateral portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary or offset well will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well, and not based on the penetration point or terminus.
8. To designate unit wells and unit operators, as appropriate, and with respect to proposed unit wells which are to be drilled as horizontal laterals to authorize them to be drilled as exceptions to the well spacing rules of applicable orders provided that there are no perforations in any well bore closer than 330 feet to any unit line.
9. To extend to the proposed units, except to the extent inconsistent herewith, the pertinent provision of Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, as amended and supplemented by the 370-B Series of Orders, and all applicable Statewide Orders.
10. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent.
The Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, and is to be redefined as to LCV RA SUYY and LCV RA SUZZ as provided herein. The Gray Sand, Reservoir A was initially defined in Order No. 370-E, effective May 23, 1979, and was redefined in Order No. 370-E-2, effective November 6, 1980. Plats are available for inspection in the Office of Conservation in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana.
