Residents come together to save Ms. Ruston

Ms. Ruston, being held by Stormy Givens, whose family is fostering the pup, was found injured and abandoned in Bienville Parish last week before Lincoln Parish residents worked together to provide safety and needed medical attention.

Last week, a young dog, affectionately named Ms. Ruston by the people involved in rescuing her, got to see firsthand that there is still plenty of kindness to spare in Lincoln Parish, despite tough economic times.

Last Wednesday, sisters Jordan Pierce and Melissa Simons, both Lincoln Parish residents, found a young dog in Bienville Parish.
