Tuesday night’s storm caused damage and power outages within the parish. Darrell Caraway, City of Ruston light and power operations manager, said approximately 1,300 residents lost power at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of town near Eastland Avenue and South Farmerville Street. Jim Pesnell, customer service manager for Entergy, said throughout Entergy’s local service area approximately 1,000 people lost power, the majority of whom live in Lincoln Parish. He said all customers should have their power back by the end of the day. Pictured is a home, located at 4110 U.S.
