Call to Order
Mr. Hogan called the meeting to order at 8:07 a.m.
Invocation
Mr. Bush presented the invocation.
Approval of Agenda
Action Item #1: Dr. Guerin made a motion to approve the agenda. Mr. Phillips seconded. All present said aye. Motion passed unanimously.
Approval of Minutes
Action Item #2: Mrs. Bromell made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting. Dr. Guerin seconded. All present said aye. Motion passed unanimously.
Public Hearing with Respect to Revenue Refunding Bonds
The CVB held a public hearing to with respect to the revenue refunding bonds. No one was present to make any public comments. The public hearing was closed.
Public Comments-None
President/CEO's Report
Mr. Napper reported that the lodging tax was down was down 22 percent for September. This put the CVB down three percent for the year. October finished strong, but could be another down month. November could be strong with several events taking place including commencement and a football game.
Treasurer's Report
Dr. Guerin presented the financial report. Revenue for the month was $34,061. Expenses were $ 23,978. Total revenue for the month was $10,083. Year-to-date revenue exceeds expenses.
Action Item # 3: Mr. Phillips made a motion to adopt the resolution issuing and selling $1,150,000 of Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2012. Mr. Russell seconded. All present said aye.
Action Item# 4: Mr. Russell made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Phillips seconded. All present said aye. Motion passed unanimously.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:30 a.m.
