New Louisiana Tech University Head Coach Skip Holtz Jr. had plenty to talk about concerning his first recruiting class during the Bulldogs’ recent “National Signing Day” luncheon held at the Lincoln Parish Library Events Center.

There was a notable similarity to the recently completed 2013 football recruiting seasons for Lincoln Parish’s two universities.

Louisiana Tech University and Grambling State University applied a big emphasis to signing not just highly-regarded high school players, but obtaining seasoned and ready-to-perform representatives from the junior college ranks.

The Bulldogs and Tigers combined for 15 signees from that level.
Tech got the dotted line signature of 10 jucos and GSU five.
