Jane Watson, with Lincoln Parish Schools Pupil Appraisal, helped with the district’s early grades reading initiative “Kick-Off Event” recently held at Hillcrest Elementary School. Watson facilitated a session for a packed room of parents and community volunteers that focused on how to help students more effectively engage in reading both in and out of the classroom.
