Laws, hearts both should change

It was with great interest that I read Mrs. Mary Carol Vidrine’s letter to the Editor, which more than implied that we should not worry about changing laws, especially in regard to current gun laws.

I totally agree with her concept that society must “change our hearts” to embrace a culture of life, and not of death, but I am confused a bit by her logic.

The first question I would ask is, “Is Christianity tilted toward one particular political party or another?” No, it is not. God is not a Democrat. Nor is He a Republican. Nor is He a Libertarian, or any other political label we can come up with.
