Each year the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) visits Capitol Hill to speak to senators, representatives and staff across the country about civil rights issues affecting the blind. I was fortunate enough to accompany the Louisiana NFB to this year’s Washington Seminar. I could write individual articles about each of the three issues chosen for this year’s seminar, but I will try to briefly overview each.
