Dameron to be Bulldogs’ new defensive coordinator

A final piece in the Skip Holtz Jr. coaching “puzzle” at Louisiana Tech University has fallen into place.

Kim Dameron, a veteran of more than 20 years in the coaching ranks, will be the new defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs, according to multiple sources close to the soon-to-be Conference USA-affiliated program.

The Rogers, Ark., native whose stops on the coaching circuits have ranged from the University of Louisiana-Monroe to Cincinnati and various sites in between, was one of several candidates being considered by Holtz to fill the D-C vacancy.
