Tech men win, women stumble against Seattle

There were mixed results for Louisiana Tech University basketball teams against Seattle University Thursday night.

One good, another not so good.

The good came up in Seattle, where the streaking Bulldogs (22-3, 13-0) continued their first-place performance in the Western Athletic Conference with a 64-58 victory over the Redhawks (7-17, 2-12).

But at the Thomas Assembly Center, the Lady Techsters (11-13, 7-6) suffered their second loss in as many tries this season against Seattle with an 87-74 defeat in front of an estimated 2,400 fans.
