Tigers, Chargers meet in championship game tonight

Simsboro High got to last year’s Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class B state championship game by defeating favored Madison Prep Academy.

Tonight, the Tigers can win the title by beating the same opponent.

Whatever year you’re speaking about, however, Simsboro (28-6) has a tall task ahead.

Just as it featured during the 2012-13 campaign, top-seeded Madison Prep Academy (41-3) has a “forest” of tall players, chief being 6-9 LSU bound Jarell Martin.
