RESOLUTION NO. 834 OF 2013
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT OF LOTS 1, 2 & 3 OF ALPINE SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, the City has received a request for approval of a preliminary Plat of Lots 1, 2 & 3 of Alpine Subdivision of the City of Ruston, Louisiana, said subdivision being a resubdivision of Lot 1 of the Cedars of Ruston, and Lots 1, 3 & 4 of Block 2 of the Resubdivision of Lot 2 of the Cedars of Ruston; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 18, 2013, reviewed the preliminary plat as submitted, and determined that the proposed development is compatible with the zoning and future land use plan; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission recognizes that City department heads and staff are working with the developer of the proposed subdivision to insure compliance with City codes and requirements; and, WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has approved the concept of the subdivision development, and recommends that the preliminary plat be approved, conditioned upon compliance with City codes and requirements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF RUSTON, LOUISIANA:
§1. The preliminary Plat of Lots 1, 2 & 3 of Alpine Subdivision, as submitted, be approved in concept, conditioned upon compliance with City codes and requirements;
§2. The Mayor, Dan Hollingsworth, is authorized and empowered to execute any documents and to do all things necessary to carry out this Resolution and to fulfill its objects and purposes.
§3. This Resolution shall become effective upon final adoption and signature of the Mayor.
Said Resolution having been read and considered by a quorum of the Board of Aldermen, on motion to adopt by Alderman Jedd Lewis, seconded by Alderwoman Glenda Howard, a record vote was taken and the following result was had:

WHEREUPON, the presiding officer declared the above Resolution duly adopted in full on this the 4th day of March, 2013.
