Experts say that exercising your brain is the key to strong mental longevity.
That would make 94-year-old Carrie Terrill of Ruston a marathon thinker.
Terrill, a resident of Ruston Rehab and Nursing for the past 7 1/2 years, hasn’t let the fact that she has some health issues involving extremities slow her down.
“The doctor said that from the knees down, I’m no good,” Terrill said as she pointed to her bandage wrapped lower legs. “But from there on up I’m perfect and in better health than most people my age.”
