Hurt, Turner to say ‘I do’ in May
Edward and Debbie Hurt, of Saline, are please to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Leona Hurt, to Kevin Wayne Turner, of Choudrant.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Willie Lee and Doris Gordon, of Weston, Dwight Hurt, of Friendship, and the late Elvie Hurt. She is a graduate of Saline High School and a 2011 graduate of Northwestern Sate University with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. She is currently employed with the City of Ruston.
Kevin is the son of Chuck and Remona Turner, of Choudrant, and he is the grandson of Tommy and Alice Byrnside, of Dubach, and Robert and Honor Jean Turner, of Choudrant. He is a graduate of Choudrant High School and is expected to receive his associates degree in fire and emergency services from Louisiana State University-Eunice. He is currently employed with the City of Ruston.
The couple plan to wed in a 2 p.m. ceremony May 11 at Mineral Springs Baptist Church with a reception to follow at the Lincoln Parish Park.
