Ogunyemi is All-State again

Simsboro senior goes back-to-back with ‘B’ honors

Ogunyemi is a first-unit member of the Class B All-State Louisiana Sports Writers Association squad for the second consecutive season. Martin was named as the classification’s Most Outstanding Player. MPA was a 53-37 winner over the Tigers in the title contest.

Daniel Ogunyemi has gone back-to-back for All-State recognition.

The 6-3 forward closed out his career at Simsboro High School Saturday by being named to the first unit of the Class B Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State team for the second straight season.

And on both occasions, “O” played a big role in helping send the Tigers to the classification’s state championship game both times.
