LEGAL NOTICE
STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, APRIL 16, 2013, upon the application of WILDHORSE RESOURCES, LLC.
At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Hico-Knowles Field and the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Terryville Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
1. To dissolve the drilling and production unit established for the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, which was created by Order No. 137-AA-6, effective August 7, 2007, being LCV RA SUJ, as shown outlined on the plat submitted with the application.
2. To dissolve the drilling and production unit established for the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, which was created by Order No. 370-B-164, effective October 21, 2008, being LCV RA SUXX, as shown outlined on the plat submitted with the application.
3. To create one (1) additional drilling and production unit for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Hico-Knowles Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, to be designated LCV RA SUM as shown outlined on the plat attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked for indentification as Exhibit No. 3.
4. To create one (1) additional drilling and production unit for the exploration for and production of gas and condensate from the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Terryville Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, to be designated LCV RA SU53, as shown outlined on the plat attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked for identification as Exhibit No. 4.
5. To redefine the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Hico-Knowles Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR as LCV RA SUM is concerned, as being the stratigraphic equivalent of that gas and condensate bearing zone between the depths of 8,580_ and 11,320_ (electric log measurements) in the Chevron USA, Inc. - F. H. Callaway No. 1 Well located in Section 11, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
6. To redefine the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in the Terryville Field, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, INSOFAR AND ONLY INSOFAR as LCV RA SU53 is concerned, as being the stratigraphic equivalent of that gas and condensate bearing zone between the depths of 9,160_ and 11,400_ (electric log measurements) in the WildHorse Resources, LLC - Davison 16 No. 3 Well located in Section 16, Township 19 North, Range 4 West, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
7. To force pool and integrate all of the separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests, located within the proposed units in accordance with Section 10, Title 30, of the Louisiana Revised Statues of 1950, with each tract sharing in unit production on a surface acreage basis of participation.
8. To provide that with respect to horizontal wells drilled to the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, in either of the Hico-Knowles Field or the Terryville Field, in or to serve the proposed units, where the horizontal lateral portion of the well is cased and cemented back above the top of the Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, the distance to any unit boundary or offset well will be calculated based on the distance to the nearest perforation in the well, and not based on the penetration point of terminus.
9. To designate unit wells and unit operators, as appropriate.
10. To extend to the proposed unit in the Hico-Knowles Field, except to the extent inconsistent herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 137-AA, effective September 1, 1979, as amended and supplemented by the 137-AA Series of Orders, and all applicable Statewide Orders.
11. To extend the proposed unit in the Terryville Field, except to the extent inconsistent herewith, the pertinent provisions of Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, amended and supplemented by the 370-B Series of Orders, and all applicable Statewide Orders.
12. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent.
The Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, was defined in Order No. 137-AA, effective September 1, 1979, and is to be redefined as to LCV RA SUM as provided herein.
The Lower Cotton Valley Formation, Reservoir A, was defined in Order No. 370-B-6, effective February 18, 1982, and is to be redefined as to LCV RA SU53 as provided herein.
Plats are available for inspection in the Office of Conservation in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, Louisiana.
