Not all students on same path
In the last few years, local public schools have tried to help students do just that. Career centers have been added so students might explore their options after graduation, whether it be going to college, joining the military or entering the work force. Guidance counselors are pushing students to make choices about potential career fields early in their high school years. But sometimes students fall short of completing their plans, get bored and give up.
But representatives at the state level have formulated a plan to hold students’ interest in education before they call it quits.
