Lincoln LEAP scores make jump

Fourth- and eighth-grade students must pass the LEAP test in order to go on to the next grade. Students who don’t pass may attend summer school and retake the test. Students in the 10th and 11th grades must pass the GEE before they can earn a high school diploma.

Third-, fifth-, sixth-, seventh- and ninth-graders in Louisiana, meanwhile, take the iLEAP test to measure their academic progress. A certain score on the iLEAP is not necessary for grade-level promotion.
