Keep pushing for the disabled

No, that wasn’t the Tour de France rolling through Ruston and Lincoln Parish Thursday afternoon. Instead it was the Journey of Hope, a 4,000-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Washington D.C. to raise money and awareness for people with disabilities. The Journey of Hope is a program of Push America, the national charity of Pi Kappa Phi. The organization has committed its members to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities since 1977 and has raised more than $13 million during that span.
