LPNET cracks down on drugs
Lincoln Parish Narcotic Enforcement Team officers arrested more than 30 people during the month of July on drug-related charges as part of a sting operation they call “Operation Summer Heat.”
The arrests wouldn’t have taken place without the hard work and diligence of the LPNET officers, according to a statement from Sheriff Mike Stone, Ruston Police Chief Steve Rogers, Grambling Police Chief Tommy Clark and Lincoln Parish District Attorney Bob Levy.
Just as importantly, LPNET officers couldn’t have arrested the suspects without help from the public. Many people in the public offered tips that resulted in the arrests, the statement said.
