GRAMBLING — Some of the most talented high school students in the country got an early start to college as they recently completed Grambling State University’s 2010 Summer High Ability Program.

GSU wrapped up this year’s High Ability Program with an awards ceremony/luncheon in the Black and Gold Room of the GSU Student Union.

The program gave 44 students, limited to the top 10 percent of incoming seniors at their respective high school, the chance to experience college life and earn college credit during a five-week course. The students earned three hours each in Freshman Composition I and Calculus I and one hour in First Year Experience (freshman orientation).
