Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie  Weaver will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Strange Methodist Church in Readhimer, La. with the Rev. Chris Andrews officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. 
The family will receive friends from 5 PM until 8:30 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Weaver passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2010.  She was born in Freeport, Fla., on July 2, 1921 to the late Joe and Stella Purswell.

She lived most of her life in Chestnut, La.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Lem Boyd Weaver, grandson, Stephen Speir and a daughter-in-law, Sandra Weaver.

She is survived by her five children, Jim Weaver of Haughton, Bill Weaver and wife ‘Sis’ of Coushatta, Gloria Andrews and husband Chris of Baton Rouge, Binky Speir and husband Teddy of Natchitoches and Bo Weaver and wife Linda of Ponchatoula, 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Scott Speir, Matthew Speir, Daniel Speir, William Weaver, Watson Weaver, Adam Andrews, Tray Weaver, Jason Weaver and Jeremy Simmons.
