Lincoln Parish residents were challenged to start a chain reaction of kindness by the life of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim of the Columbine High School massacre.

Rachel’s father, Darrell Scott, shared the story of his daughter’s life during a special church service at Temple Baptist Church sponsored by Longstraw Baptist Church.

Rachel’s challenge comes from an essay she wrote a few weeks before her death. It suggested that kindness was the answer to the ills of the world.
