Flying and arrests suits
Happy fall to you all. No, fall does not officially commence until Sept. 23 (according to my calendar), yet when this column appears we have already had our first local football games, Labor Day cookouts and celebration, classes commencing and a wisp of coolness (relatively speaking) in the air. This is my favorite time of year, especially with the advent of the football season and a break in the temperature level.
Before continuing with some funny stories, may I humbly remind us all to watch out for the school traffic, both pedestrian and vehicular. Drive more carefully; put down the blankety-blank cell phones; observe the slowing and stopped school buses; and generally, care and watch out for our students.
As from time to time it is appropriate to share news from the “lighter” side, I thought I would do so this week in sharing some funny stories from the legal world. I recall the lawyer jokes, but remember, it takes a client, not a lawyer, to file a suit. How ‘bout this one?
