The 2010 Bulldogs Tackling Breast Cancer initiative is now underway with a call for nominations of breast cancer survivors to serve as an honorary team captain during the Tech-Navy game on Sept. 18. With visions of pigskins now dancing in everyone’s head, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs want to add just a hint of pink to it all.

That’s right, with the home opener against the Navy Midshipmen on the horizon, the High Octane Dawgs are set to shine a pink spotlight on some of the area’s most amazing success stories.

For the fourth consecutive year, Tech’s Bulldogs are putting the emphasis squarely on breast cancer awareness. And for the second year, that includes a special initiative that focuses on the unique stories connected to the disease.
