Golden Eagles to meet Tech after back-to-back victories

Former Louisiana Tech University head coach Derek Dooley used to dread hearing the words “trap game” being employed by media members to describe upcoming tests for the Bulldogs.

Head coach Larry Fedora of the University of the University of Southern Mississippi can identify with such a feeling.

With his Golden Eagles (2-1) winning their last two outings, the latest being 31-16 over Saturday, Fedora was asked about this week’s visit to Ruston and confronting a 1-2 Tech team being a “trap game” situation.
