Tattoo artist Joey Bagwell will provide cancer-theme tattoos free of charge on Saturday at University Ink Tattoo in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Donations will be accepted and will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Two local tattoo artists are investing their creative talents into a greater cause this week.

On Saturday, University Ink Tattoo will be closed for regular business.

The downtown tattoo shop will instead open its doors at 9 a.m. to welcome people who are interested in making donations to help prevent breast cancer or having the breast cancer ribbon permanently etched on their body.
